#CoronaDays

Disclaimer!!!!!........ This has nothing to do with corona, except for the fact that I now have a bit more time on my hands to talk to you guys. I just wanted to use that as a title to express the fact that I'm sitting here with time to spare thanks to corona lol. But you know what? Lets take time to thank corona, NO lets thank GOD for what He is doing because He's always doing something with our best interest a heart even though things may look like total chaos to us. This will sound very cliche(ish) but it's the truth... I trust Him and I thank Him because everything is alright. But "people are dying" you say. You still gotta trust Him. Proverbs 3:5 I sympathize with everyone who is affected. I'm affected in my own way but it's not nearly as bad as some, so what I will chose to do is to be grateful, be grateful for a husband who knows how to manage money well and who knows how to trust God also and save money! I am learning so much through this. I am so humbled and I'm also thankful for the time at home to catch up. I didn't know how much I was missing by working so much with the family business. This is making me take time to enjoy my family and life again. We go on bike rides, we've been playing board game and cooking at home and it's been great. So when everything goes back to normal, my "post corona resolution" is to keep the gratitude attitude going by continuing to do things that celebrate my life and family and do things in the moment that makes you feel alive!! I was so busy doing the same routine and not taking EXTRA time for EXTRA special things. You'd be surprised how "alive" a bike ride or walk makes you feel. If anybody knows what I'm talking about comment below! But moving on from corona.......

I had been struggling to continue blogging as you can see it's been since June 2019 since I've written anything. Let me tell you, when you're meant to do something, when it feels good, feels right and even helps other people, something is always there to try to stop it. Don't let it. That something has stopped me from writing for months and months and not a day went by that I didn't think about writing. I'm here to tell you that if you let that "something" succeed, you put on hold what you're meant to do. I thought about it and thought about it until that was all I did, was "think" about it. I didn't put any action to it and I became miserable. So why not just put myself out of the misery and write?? That's the question I would ask myself every time. But I now have learned that you have to push through those excuses that keep you from doing what you know you should do. My excuse was that I was always so busy and by the end of the day I was so tired and didn't have the mental energy to sit at my desk and write. But little did I know that once I sat down and began to just take a small effort to write and get things my how much that would help me, like it's helping me now. (Side note!! My husband just walked in and randomly told me how special i am!! awwww!!!! "I love you too Bryan Scars) Anyway, the point I am trying to make, well I'm actually trying to encourage you because I'm encouraged right now, the things you KNOW you're suppose to be doing... I'm talking about the things that make you happy and get you excited, the things you think about everyday, the things that really drive you and motivate you, those are the things you're suppose to be doing and those are also the things that are sometimes the hardest to do. Why? Because a lot of times those things aren't what pays the bills, or those things are sometimes looked at as strange or a waste of time to someone else so sometimes we brush them off and do what we have to do for money for instance. Sitting down at this desk on this purple laptop may not look like it's helping me make money or pay a bill or whatever your reason, but OH IT IS!! I'm doing the one thing that makes me happy. From my experience, when you do things that make you happy, it's usually what you're called to do. When those things make you happy, and it's potentially helping someone else it also lines up with what God wants you to do. Why wouldn't he want you to be happy doing things you like to do or doing things that you're good at or just doing things to help somebody else?

I know I'm suppose to be talking about part 3 of the Zion story, but I haven't talked to you guys in a while and this is what's on my heart at the present time

and I miss you. I also miss sitting here and typing, telling my thoughts, feelings and emotions and I'm hoping that something I say will reach you, help you and make you think. I try to get this thing called life right everyday. I know that there are things God wants us to do for Him and for ourselves each day. Most days I know what those things are, but ask me if I do them? I don't (not) do them on purpose but I make excuses for what I know I'm suppose to be doing. Is this making sense? Ok like exercising for instance, I know good and well that's ONE thang (yeah I said thang) I should be doing everyday, but excuses get in the way and they got in the way for a whole year! Now I'm over weight, my pressure is higher than normal and I don't feel good in my own clothes. So here's my solution and hopefully even with your help, WE can get back to doing the things we know we should be doing. God will help us because He wants us to succeed. He wants me to write because it makes me happy and it makes me feel good about myself which will eventually turn into something bigger. That't the point I'm trying to make. Think about those successes that you've had because you did something you loved and wanted to do, it made you feel good about yourself and may have even turned into a great hobby and/or career. So my challenge is to simply write.... and challenge myself everyday to MAKE time to do this. Will I fail? Maybe so, will I strive to get back at it again? Yes. What are some of the challenges you face everyday? How will you overcome them? The first step is realizing that you can do better and then take small steps to make yourself do better.
